On July 31st, 2011, the Chicago White Sox unveiled a bronze sculpture of Frank Thomas AKA “The Big Hurt”. His No. 35 was retired by the White Sox in 2010 and he was inducted into the Hall Of Fame in 2014.
Oscar and Lou created this impressive life size bronze statue by working with Frank Thomas throughout the process to ensure a dynamic and realistic likeness. The pose demonstrates the follow through of his one-handed swing and captures his trademark smile.
